Annabel specialises in gut health, including IBS, bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, food intolerances and general digestive issues. She also works with clients managing diabetes, and supports women through perimenopause and menopause to reduce symptoms and optimise long-term health. Annabel also helps clients with overall nutrition and wellbeing goals.

Michael has extensive experience in eating disorders, with a recovery-focused and trauma-informed approach. He also supports clients with gut health issues, complex medical conditions and mental health challenges. Michael is passionate about creating an inclusive and empathetic space where clients feel supported and empowered to make positive changes.
Together, we provide a holistic and compassionate approach so that you feel understood, encouraged and supported while working towards your health goals.

Your first consultation is a chance for us to get to know you and understand your health story in detail.

Length of session: Most consultations run for 30 minutes. In some cases, such as with NDIS or DVA referrals, sessions may be up to an hour, depending on your insurance coverage. Both Annabel and Michael offer this option.


What we cover:
  • We listen to your health story, current symptoms and medical history
  • We explore your lifestyle, eating habits and personal goals
  • We provide tailored nutrition advice and practical strategies to get you started
  • We may create a personalised meal plan or guide, including recipes and tips
  • We send consultation notes to your GP or referrer when required

What can I expect in my first consultation?

Yes, we offer Telehealth consultations to make our services more accessible and flexible. Both Annabel and Michael see clients online, so you can access support from the comfort of your own home. Telehealth works just like an in-person appointment, with the same level of care, tailored advice and resources.

If you are eligible, Medicare and private health rebates can also apply to Telehealth sessions

Do you offer online consultations?

No, you don’t need a referral to book an appointment with Annabel or Michael – you’re welcome to book directly.

If you’ve already used your GP Chronic Care Management Plan visits and no longer have Medicare-subsidised sessions available, you’re still very welcome to continue. In that case, you would pay the full consultation fee, and depending on your level of cover, you may be able to claim a rebate through your private health fund. Many clients choose to keep going because the ongoing support, accountability, and personalised strategies make a real difference in managing gut health, eating behaviours, and long-term wellbeing.

Do I need a referral, and what if I’ve already used up my GPCCMP visits for the year?

Yes. If you have a GP referral under a GP Chronic Care Management Plan (GPCCMP), you may be eligible for Medicare rebates of $61.80 per eligible session.

Many private health funds also provide rebates for dietitian consultations. The amount will depend on your level of cover, so it is best to check directly with your fund.

Both Annabel and Michael are eligible providers under Medicare and private health.

Are consultations covered by Medicare or private health?

Our fees are the same whether you see Annabel or Michael.

  • Initial consultation: $142
  • Review consultation: $112
  • NDIS: Based on your plan cover
  • DVA: Bulk billed

If you have a GP Care Plan (GPCCMP), you will still pay the full fee upfront on the day. Medicare rebates of $61.80 per eligible session are processed afterwards and sent directly to your bank account. Private health insurance rebates may also apply, depending on your level of cover.

How much does an appointment cost?

Yes, both Annabel and Michael can provide personalised meal plans when appropriate. Our focus is always on flexible and sustainable nutrition strategies that fit into your lifestyle, rather than rigid rules.

Meal plans are provided in the second session, as they take time to prepare and need to be carefully reviewed with you to make sure the recipes and ideas suit your preferences, goals and medical needs. In some cases, this may look more like providing structured meal frameworks, food ideas or support strategies instead of a traditional plan, depending on your needs.

Would you provide a personalised meal plan for me?

We understand that plans change, however cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment time will be charged the full consultation fee.

How do I reschedule or cancel?

To help us make the most of your consultation, we kindly ask that you:

  • Complete the intake form sent to your email via Halaxy
  • Arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time
  • Pay the consultation fee on the day
  • Complete our short post-session survey, which helps us continue to improve your care and support
  • If your appointment is online, please check your technology is working and set yourself up in a quiet space where you feel comfortable
